Do we have any exotic creatures that you don’t have in Australia?
EVERY AUSTRALIAN HAS THIS SAME EXPERIENCE. SQUIRRELS! AMERICA HAS SQUIRRELS! WOW! :D
We don’t know why we are fascinated by squirrels. We just are.
Could I just direct you all to my travel blog where I took video of the first squirrel I saw.
Man I’m still so excited for them! They’re so fluffy X3
But he’s right they do look like they’re planning something…
Seeing a squirrel is one of the reasons I want to go to America…
Australia might be known for it’s unique wildlife but most of them are nocturnal (not to mention endangered and only found outside the cities) so we don’t see them much. I know there’s lots of possums in my neighbourhood but I still get super excited if I spot one at night coz it’s so rare. American visitors would voice their disappointment about how possums and koalas aren’t as visible here as squirrels back home and I would be thinking “Your animals come out in the day?!”
